YOGA FLOW CLASS:

A medium paced flow class designed for students that are intermediate and above in their yoga journey. The instructor teaches poses that are both challenging and rewarding for students. This class includes multiple balance poses and poses are connected with a flow to down-dog.

Tuesday and Thursday
8am, 60 minutes

BEGINNER CLASS:

Beginner yoga is a class for students looking for a basic and well-rounded yoga practice. In this class, you will be immersed in the fundamentals of yoga. Proper alignment in the poses as well as breathing, meditation and relaxation techniques will be taught during class. The instructor also walks you through using props during practice to build confidence in your yoga postures.

9:15am, 60 minutes

CHAIR CLASS:

A gentle class for students looking for a basic and well-rounded yoga practice with the use of a chair for stability.  This class cultivates awareness and deep relaxation through breath work, gentle stretching and gentle movements without the stress of getting up and down off the floor.  The chair is used for seated postures as well as stability for standing and balance poses.

Unlimited classes for that particular month (Please note: This option is for payment of the month only and sign up for each class is required.)

Subscriptions are able to be set up for auto-renew.

The auto-renew will occur on the same date every month as the date one sets it up.
(ie: if you set up the subscription on January 18th, it will renew on February 18th.)

PRIVATE YOGA SESSION

* Would you like to do yoga, but the class times do not work with your schedule?
* Are you looking for individual attention to assist you in your yoga journey?
 
Private yoga sessions with Amy are 1-hour long and can be online on Zoom or in-person at your home or Amy’s.  The sessions can be booked at days and times to suit your schedule.
 
Amy will work with you to figure out what you need most from your sessions and will design classes for you that meet you where you are each time you have a session.
 
The outline of classes will be to check in with your goals from the previous session, discuss any feedback about recommendations and practice, work through the customized session, finish with goal evaluation and setting practice recommendations. This might look slightly different from week to week or month to month. Sessions may include mindfulness, breathing techniques, postures and flows. The sessions can be as relaxing or challenging as you wish. The physical postures can range from gentle or chair-based to more energetic yoga flows.

 

First time private session clients are encouraged to schedule a free 30 minute phone call to confirm we are the best fit for each other.  I want to ensure you feel comfortable with me and that my services will be the best fit for your needs.  I am open and honest with you and look forward to speaking with you.

REIKI

Reiki is an energy healing technique that promotes relaxation, reduced stress and reduced anxiety through gentle touch or hand hovering (no touch).  Reiki practitioners use their hands to guide energy through your body to improve the flow and balance of your energy through your chakras to support the natural healing processes of the client’s body and restore physical and emotional well-being.  The word healing is used in the sense of regaining harmony and wholeness.  Reiki can be used as a complement to other forms of health treatments.  It is also used in hospitals and hospices.

During an in-person session, your practitioner will speak with you briefly about any emotional or physical issues that you may be experiencing and answer any questions you may have.  You will lay comfortably on the table (provided by the practitioner), fully clothed, with the exception of removing your shoes.  A state of relaxation will be created with soft music, aromatherapy (if requested ahead of time), and guided breathing techniques.  Reiki energy will be transferred into the body and the energy field through light touch or hand hovering (no touch) in various positions along the body.  The session will be end with a light meditation. 

During a distance session, your practitioner will speak with you briefly about any emotional or physical issues that you may be experiencing and answer any questions you may have.  We will be on a Zoom call and request the client to be in a comfortable space with no interruptions during the session.  Reiki energy will be transferred into the body and the energy field through thoughts and the Universe.  While the reiki energy is being transferred, the call will be muted.  Once the energy transfer is complete the practitioner will un-mute the call and walk the client through a light meditation.
